Battle Force is a celebration of sport and culture, a global event where hoops, art, music and dance all come together. Nike approached us to develop a living, modular motion system that could accommodate a multitude of expressions — from web films to environmental animation to social content.

“Expose the Process.” was the theme for the 2018 season. We went back to the fundamentals of creativity focusing our energy on “the act of making.” We wanted to expose both the process of work and the tools used for making and building. So we took a step out of our computer-comforts and spent the summer in scanner beds with spray paint and razor blades. The result is a hybrid of practical magic and digital handicraft that brings the complete spirit of Battle Force to life.
